TDTC members are a diverse group whose primary goal is the dispersal of knowledge regarding obedience training. Our "canine membership" ranges from purebred show dogs to mixed breed shelter dogs. Interests range from competitive obedience, to agility training, to Paw Pals therapy visits.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

To qualify for Associate Membership you must successfully complete a class with TDTC. This may be a Beginner level class or above (puppy classes do not count). After completion of your class, you may submit an application for Associate Membership, which will be reviewed by the board.
As an Associate Member, you may enroll in future training courses for a reduced rate of $40 per class. You may also serve on committees and volunteer to help at trials to further the club's objectives. All members receive "Paw Prints", a bi-monthly newsletter to keep you abreast of club activities. Members also enjoy a variety of TDTC events, such as a summer picnic, annual Christmas party and yearly awards banquet, as well as a myriad of trials and other dog-related events!

REGULAR MEMBERSHIP

To qualify for Regular Membership, Associate members must attend three (3) General Club Meetings, held six (6) times a year on the second Friday of every other month at 7PM. The first meeting of the year is held in January. An attendance roster is maintained by the membership, so make sure you sign in at each meeting so we may verify that you have attended the required number of meetings. You may then apply for Regular Membership by completing an application and returning it to the Membership Chairman. Your application will then be voted on by the Regular Membership at the next general meeting. Regular members can serve on the Board of Directors and may apply for privileges such as building keys and crate space at the club.

EXPENSES

Yearly dues are $50 for a single membership and $75 for a family membership and are due in January each year. A family membership includes all family members living under one roof. You may join at any time during the year, summer and fall classes at a pro-rated fee.
